2 Chronicles 5:13
In Acts 16:25-26 Paul and Silas caused drama in the prison simply because they engaged the power of praise. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. Now you see how songs of praise from Paul and Silas resulted in a divinely orchestrated earthquake that saw to their release from an obnoxious incarceration. When you praise the Lord from your heart in the beauty of holiness, the result is a divine explosion of glory. Praise the Lord in the face of daunting challenges, and His glory will be manifested in your behalf. Also looking at Jesus’ ministry, the two most profound miracles He did were as a result of praise. When He fed 5,000 men in the wilderness, thanksgiving was what multiplied the loaves (John. 6:5-12), and at the graveside of Lazarus, praise was what brought him back to life (John. 11:41-44). When praise proceeds from the heart, it has the supernatural ability to multiply whatever you have. Praise has multiplication power, therefore this praise connection is intended to usher you into realms of unlimited signs and wonders. Praise has an inherent miracle force that ensures, among other things, that nothing finishes in your hand. God needs to open your eyes to the power of praise. Once you grasp it, all your struggles will come to an end.

It is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:18: In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. The power in praise is released as you learn to praise God in your secret place as much as you do in church. At every point and in whatever situation you find yourself, still give Him thanks. Praise is the will of God, which after you have done, you are sure to obtain the promise of signs and wonders. Signs are meant to follow you that is a promise of God. But this promise will not be accomplished until you first do God’s will, which is praise. Therefore, no matter what you’re going through, praise Him and you will obtain the promise.
Praise is not just one of those preparatory things you do before prayer. It has a force of its own, which is able to produce signs and wonders. If it could bring Lazarus who had been dead for four days back to life, it can bring you into a strange order of manifestations. You don’t have to say much. Don’t talk about the thing that’s been bothering you; keep your focus on the Lord, as you sing and dance to the Lord, chanting verses of praise to extol His majesty, the power of God will surge through your being. Don’t stop at this time; as the inspiration increases, speak in tongues again and again, until you have a note of victory. No matter what the case is, such praise will be followed by miracle. Rather than feel downcast, helpless or overwhelmed when you face challenges, engage the power of praise; and the power of God’s Spirit will be stirred, and you’ll have a testimony.
