The Arrow Of Victory

2Kings 13:14-19

The arrow of victory is closely tied to your faith and it is your foundation for victory.

It is not faith in your ability, qualifications or any mundane things, but faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and on God’s irrevocable word. Recognize that you are born a winner, a victor by virtue of your birth and parentage. You are not expected to be defeated by anything. You are seated far above everything that is earthly. You are above defeat and failure. It is my fervent belief that you will be translated into a different level of victory in the name of Jesus. The battle line has been drawn and the king was conscious of the need to approach the man of God for guidance. It was such a timely visit to the aged prophet who was sick unto death. May heaven help you not to be sluggish to approach your helper in time of your need. Sufficient warning of warlike intention has been sounded by the shooting of the arrow of the lord’s deliverance, which assured the king victory from the Lord. A clear instruction was given to the king by the prophet to strike the ground five or six times, but he struck it three times and stopped. The king needed an intelligent faith but, his level of spirituality made him displayed an ignorant faith. Shooting one arrow of prayer may guarantee victory but the number of times you smite the camp of your enemies will determine how many victories God will give you.

The first thing you must understand is that, you are engaged in a spiritual warfare. If you do not know this, you have no right to victory. There is need for a battle, fight or competition before there can be a winner or a loser. You must fight manfully onward till the matter is put to proper rest. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. Be rest assured that God has shown you the arrow that must be shot before victory is declared. Be informed that winners don’t quit and quitters don’t win.

  1. What an awesome write up it is one thing to know that you are in battle and another thing to trust God for victory. Amen

  2. May I never be contented with one answered prayer. O Lord give me the zeal and grace to press on until the issue at hand are resolved.
